What To Do Once You Have Had Your Guava Latino Keratin Treatment

Leave your hair as it is when you leave the salon for at least 72hrs

No hair ties, tuck behind ears or do anything that could cause hair to 'Kink or Frizz' for 72 hours.

Use paraben & sulphate free shampoo & conditioner for every wash.

We will prescribe the correct products for you.

Guava Latino is not a relaxer. You will need to activate with heat using a hairdryer or a straightener. The amount of time required to style your hair will decrease dramatically; in some cases, it is wash and go, while others will require some blow-drying and styling time.

As clients repeat the treatment every few months, you will observe the improved quality of hair grown after the protein treatment was applied.

Smoothing can last 2-4months.

Results may vary depending on the health of your hair & how you care for your hair after the service. Things like how often you wash your hair, what products you use, swimming, and your hair's general condition will all affect longevity. On virgin hair, the best result will be achieved after the second or third application. Virgin hair won't last as long as previously coloured or chemically treated hair.

Colouring Your Hair

Smoothing can cause your hair colour to lighten slightly or change in tone, and there is also a period of time where the process is still completing in your hair. We recommend timing your colour for one week after your smoothing service.

Hair must be washed before any colouring service after the keratin treatment.

There is an initial coating on the hair that needs to be washed off to absorb the colour into your hair.

Bleaching/Lightening should be done before Guava Smoothing service & refresh toner after service to replace any lost pigment.
